I offer appointments 8:30 am through 2:30 pm Monday through Wednesday.
My last appointment of the day begins at 1:30pm.

All appointments are 60 minutes. Individual appointments are 140.00 (tax included) and couples appointments are 150.00 (tax included). I accept e-transfer, cheque and cash. Payment is due on the day of your appointment.
Payment is expected at the end of your appointment or by the end of day if paying by e-transfer. I send clients e-receipts that include all the necessary information required to submit to your insurance provider if they cover Registered Clinical Counselling. I do not have a sliding scale or student rates.
My office is located at 215 - 2186 Oak Bay Avenue. The entrance is beside Ivy's Bookshop. When you get to the top of the stairs, turn left. When you arrive for your appointment please come inside the main door to 215 and have a seat in the waiting room; I will be with you shortly.
There is free 2 hour street parking available on Oak Bay Avenue as well as in the lot behind the building.
Will my extended health benefits cover counselling with you?
What extended health benefit providers cover varies depending on your policy and what your employer has chosen to cover within that policy. Insurance providers do not allow Registered Clinical Counsellors to bill directly.
I recommend that clients contact their insurance providers directly to find out if counselling with a Registered Clinical Counsellor is covered and to what extent.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). My certification number is 12190.
What if I have to cancel or change an appointment with you?
My cancellation policy states that clients must provide 24 hours notice in advance of your appointment if you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason. If you do not provide 24 hours notice via phone or email a missed-appointment fee of the full amount of the appointment must be paid before booking your next appointment. This can be paid using e-transfer. This ensures I am able to contact wait-listed clients to fill the vacant appointment time in a timely manner.
How is my privacy and personal information protected?
Communication between us is private and confidential. I adhere to the BCACC and CCPA Code of Ethics to which I agreed when I became registered. No information we discuss can be disclosed to anyone else without your written consent. The only exception to this is when I am bound by law to report if a client discloses abuse or neglect of a child, if a client intends to harm themselves or another, or when the courts order the release of confidential information. This is simply industry-standard and will be addressed with you when necessary. I am always happy to discuss this further during our first session and at any time throughout the course of our sessions together.
